It all started with wanting to make a red, white, and black button to use as an embellishment. But, there was left over polymer clay. And, it's a waste of energy to not load up the little toaster oven pan. And, while the first batch was in, I might as well be making another batch, with that left over clay. So, I now have a plethora of buttons (let's not even think about the other colors I want to work with). I have to assume that this happens to other people. I can't be the only one...

I really like the buttons. I like the strong colors. They have the right amount of detail for me. Also, they suggest things like snails and snakes and ladybugs without actually being cutesy copies of them. I even like the black and white segmented worm like thing on the orange background even though it reminds me of the tape worm illustrations in my parisitology text book. And that's saying a lot!
