REPORT FROM ARTISCAPE #2
Today has been a full day of classes and (most importantly) meeting Lou McCulloch and Linda Koch (on line friends) in person. I'm still looking for Kari. I am posting some more Artiscape work from my classes: a metal transfer I'm not very happy with from Thursday night, my shrink plastic cover for an art journal from a Friday class, two pairs of polymer clay leaf earrings from today, Zia's Luna Quilt from today, and paste paper from Friday night (I did some more interesting sheets, too, but they weren't there when I went to pick up my dried sheets).
Hey Joanne - I'm just now getting to read your blog. Love the pictures of paper at the bottom - so colorful!

Joanne all of your classes look amazing! I love how the transfer turned out it looks very aged. Your earrings are beautiful as well as everything else, looks like you had some fun and full classes! That's too bad about your papers disappearing ;-(

Was great to meet you too, Joanne, and can't wait for our drive to A&S and a visit to Hollo's (great paper store) while you are here. Hope you can help me with my typepad links too!
You made such beautiful pieces at Artiscape!

Love the earrings! ...and the paste paper....and the journal cover.....That is great that you can take 3 different classes in one day - i thought at most art conventions you only got one or two. It looks like you are having a blast. wish I was there!

Hi Joanne,
I love the soldered pendants. They're fabulous. Too bad someone took your paste papers. I love making them. It's just like kindergarten.

I'm so glad you posted the paste papers. I was eager to see them and regret that some took French leave, were paper-napped by some disorganized or opportunistic artist, or are in some teachers portfolio to be discussed with you at a different time because of their wonderfulness. I liked what you posted.
I thought the shrink plastic journal cover and the quilt thing were neat and look forward to learning from you when next we meet AND have time.
Have a great time.
