I am in a Colors Round Robin and have just completed my spread in Joyce's book. The book is titled "Fragments" and she chose the colors robin's egg blue and antique paper. I decided to do a fragmented page and to write a short poem (well, if it's about fragments, it wouldn't be long; would it?).

Love this spread, Joanne! How have you been? How is the wrist healing? I have a question...on a previous post you show a digital collage you did...tell me how you get the original image to seperate so well from the original background? I am SO not versed in Photo Shop yet, but I am assuming that is how you did it somehow?
Oh what a wonderful spread, Joanne! I love the raven and your use of the human eye! The baby with wings is adorable an adorable image - is that from your own collage sheet collection? Your poetry always amazes me - this one is another beautiful one!
Your new banner is delightful! Did you create it yourself?
hugs,
jackie
This is terrific Joanne. I love how you combine your own writing with your artwork. And gosh, isn't it a nightmare trying to cut this stuff out and glue it down when you are still sorta' one handed? YIKES! I admire you for being able to manage to continue working as you have!
I really like it. I see some familiar images in it. I guess I should say, some of my favorite images in it. And I find the colors soothing.

Very nicely done. I'm sure she will love it. I like how you have used both the words and the design to get the idea of a fragment across. xo, Fran

Joanne, one more thing. You have a new banner! I like it! Have you had it long, and I've just missed it? I hope not because I think it's great.

Joanne, this is so serene, calm and beautiful.
The poem itself is an amazing work. Having the face appear gradually throughout the eggs is brilliant.
