ARRIVEDERCI
I'm going to Italy with my older daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday (yes, my younger daughter is already thinking bout her 21st birthday trip in twoyears) and we will be back on July 19. For my 21st birthday, my parents took me to Frank's Italian Restaurant in Hartford, Connecticut. My husband, who does not particularly like to travel, will be monitoring us long distance (I rented a European cell phone for the trip so we can stay in touch). We're primarily going to Rome, Florence and Monterossa al Mare, but we'll be taking day trips to Pompei, Pisa, Sienna and the Tuscan countryside. Have fun while I'm gone :D

Two things about Siena. Can you find out how the color got it's name? Also, I share St. Katherine of Siena birthday. If you learn anything funny about her, I'd be delighted to learn it! :)

You have been gone for a few days now and I am thinking about you. I hope your having a wonderful time. I bet you are eating way too much pasta. Yum! Italy has the best food in the world. Enjoy every bite!
