MORE PHOTOS FROM ITALY
We left Monterossa al Mare (by train) for Genoa on Friday, basically to be by the Genoa airport, not to see the city (which is big and busy). The number of the train changed, but we managed to get on the right train and off at the right train station in Genoa. In Genoa, we walked around a little bit and had a very nice dinner in a delightful restaurant and then went back to the hotel and packed things up for the trip home.
Saturday, we took 3 flights (Genoa to Munich, Munich to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Detroit) to get home. The ride home was delayed by almost two hours due to a dead car battery, but we made it home after being awake for 25 hours. Back to real life (and a broken air conditioner during a heat wave) and time to get ready for Art Unraveled in Phoenix in August.
Anyway, here are a few more photos that I couldn't figure out how to put in my other two blog entries about my trip.

Oh such beautiful photos! I imagine all 2,000+ are good ones-how fun is that for you! Bring on the collage sheets!

The St. Peters are TOTALLY to die for. Whatever are you going to do to incorporate those into your work? I know it will be spectacular!

Sounds like you had a great trip! I am saving my Frequent Flyer Miles for a trip to Italy. I NEED to go back to Rome and Florence in the worst kind of way.
I'm glad to hear you two are still speaking!

Your daughter is gorgeous and I am so glad y'all enjoyed your time together in that idylic setting!
I admire you for all that you did during your visit - it would have taken me a week just to recover from the plane ride! Sounds like y'all did lots and lots of walking and site-seeing and shopping and I know the memories of this trip will delight both of y'all for years to come!

Joanne! What beautiful photos! They take me back to Italy. I want to go again so badly. Becky is such a cutie, and I'm glad you two got along and enjoyed this time together. Did any cute Italian men try to hit on Becky ... or you for that matter?

Love all your photo's. It sounds like you had a wonderful, very exciting trip. One can't ever have too many photo's. Especially of Europe. I bet you had to pinch yourself a time or too and ask, "Am I really here". Thanks for the day by day of your journey. I enjoyed hearing all about it. I bet you find yourself daydreamming of your trip often. Enjoy the memories.
