My husband calls my brother and sister-in-law's 4 adult children and their spouses "the neph-people," so, I have decided to call their 8 children "the grand-nephs." On Sunday my daughters and I start our 2 day drive down to Florida to spend Christmas with them all (my husband is staying home and working, which is garnering him all sorts of sympathy and extra presents). I finally finished my gifts for the 8 grand-nephs and am showing them here. I have one niece who sometimes checks my blog, but I figure she's busy with Christmas preparations for her 3 small daughters; so I think the name pieces will be a surprise for everyone. I took photos of letters (it's really hard to find naturally occurring letters, so I had to make some) and then photoshopped them into names. I'm still working on presents for some of the adults (I know, it's already Thursday and we're leaving on Sunday - but what's the holiday without a certain amount of present making pressure?).
If you can't read the names, they are Taylor, Ayla, Allan, Brooke, Morgan, Laney, Colton, and Parker (this isn't in order of age or family, it's in order of how I scanned them).

Joanne, this is one of the coolest things I have seen! What a wonderful idea. Because I'm so late in seeing your post, you have already given them, and I'm sure they were delighted! I just love these, and would love to copy your idea for my grand children if you don't mind!

Very cool! I think these would be big sellers at the KIA. Instead of names, you could do PEACE, CHANGE, JOY and that kind of thing. YOU ARE SO CREATIVE!!!!

This seems to be all the rage at the craft show I have been in. Some of them are pretty spectacular. Yours are as well. I'm sure they will love them. I am amazed at all the letters and numbers that surround us in nature.

Joanne, these are fantastic and I think you should figure out a way to have a 'special order' plan and sell them. They are really cool. I'd be thrilled if I were the recipient!
