I LOVE THE IDEA OF EPIPHANY
There is a brief liturgical Season of Epiphany, which is best known for the arrival of the Magi (wisdom, knowledge and bountiful earthly gifts). There is the idea of a burst of insight. And, there is personal change that comes from Divine revelation(s). Doesn't this all seem to be perfect for art and artists? My wish for all of us in the New Year is that we are gifted with moments of clarity, intuitive perceptions, and illuminating discoveries that reveal themselves in our art. I made this piece to show my epiphany thoughts: the door is from a photo I took in Tuscany; the sky is from a photo from a flight over the Atlantic, heading into dawn; and the words are my definition of epiphany.

Totally awesome Joanne. Very enlightening for sure. Great post!

Just a lovely, lovely marriage of imagery that is important to you, Joanne! (I do agree with the comment about the font, though. The definition is a bit tough to read.)

This is awesome. I love the way you combined images from various trips. Might I suggest you change the color of the font to a darker color. I find it's hard to read your brilliant words with this color. Or it could be my monitor.

This is wonderful Joanne. Of course you know I love anything with a door on it. You can do amazing things with photoshop. I love the sky behind the open door. Just marvelous.
