You may or may not know that it's hard for a round lady to find jazzy clothes. So, I have started altering clothes to give myself a more interesting wardrobe. My red dress (see previous post) pleased me
...so, I decided to make a party skirt from a pair of jeans
and a square dance petty coat.
I got the idea from Pinterest. I got the jeans from my closet and the petty coat from an antique store in St Petersburg FL. Frankly, the petty coat is like the Grinch's heart - a couple of sizes too small. But, I love the way it feels, and it sort of makes me feel May West-like. I died the jeans and some lace black; cut the legs of the jeans off and sewed the petty coat to the jeans. It's a fun skirt to wear.
You look so well in funky dress...must take this to Orvieto!! :<)
Happy New Year...xoxoxox

Well are you adorable! I am glad that you are feeling well enough to be so creative. I also pinned that idea to my Clothes Pins Board on Pinterest - maybe one day I'll do the same for myself. Oh, and your hair decor is darling!
