I'm doing two things that are designed to improve my drawing. I participate in a weekly challenge and I'm taking an Art on the iPad class at the KIA (K'zoo Institute of Art).
Today is extremely cold and I wanted to spend it inside; so I have been drinking hot chocolate, working on an art trade, and catching up on my drawing.
Below are two drawings done on my iPad. The one of my daughters was done in "Graphite." The one of the dragon was done in "Brushes 3."
For my weekly drawing challenge theme of "cold," I just looked outside my window. To help convey the feeling, I decided to draw on black and used a Copic marker to cover the page.
For the theme of "magic." I went back to my dragon on the iPad. I added a quote which I found many years ago. I have no idea who first wrote it, but I love it.
I still love that dragon best! He just makes me smile. Sounds like a great class, though!
