Sigh. Such beauty.
While I enjoyed each of the Ireland photos, I truly adore the Mama and baby sheep heading down the road. So precious.

Well that's suppose to "golf" and not gold. I think people would wonder how you play gold? LOL! sorry about that my typos get worse and worse.

Awesome photos and what a great adventure for you and Kate! My husband went to Scotland a few years ago with a friend to play gold (what else?) and then they drove to Ireland. He said crossing into Ireland was like coming into Disneyland. I'll always picture that and hope when i get to go someday it will appear like that to me too.

Welcome home,

JoAnne! Your shots are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us! I'm glad to have you back home safe! Rest up and then tell us if you saw any of those electric sheep!!! OH and I want to hear ALLL about the book of Kells!

Kate White

Stunning photos, Josie! Both sets, I mean. I recognize most of the places and didn't realize how much I would enjoy the photos of the signs as well as the scenery and doors.

Today is another glorious sunny day in Galway, the third in a row. Tomorrow is supposed to be good, also, but rain is promised for Wednesday when we fly home.

It was a great trip!

I'll be waiting to see how some of these beautiful shots end up in your art. Glad you shared.

Your photos are breathtaking! I would happily sit and view all 1000 of them if you post them anywhere!
I'd love to hear more details about the trip - what was the food like? How was the shopping? What did you buy? What was your most favorite day there? etc, etc.

I can't wait to see all the photos (or a good share of them) at Maven's. I love the photo of the sheep, what a wonderful time you must have had!

Beautiful photography Joanne! I too had mechanical difficulties on the way to ArtFest -- and was stuck in Chicago's airport. Tears paid off, and they managed to get me to Seattle -- albeit a bit late so I missed my shuttle. Luckily, I found out how wonderful my friends are, and I made it. But it sure feels good to be home........

Wow - I would have taken 1,000 photos, too! I can't wait to see more!

Glad you are home safe and sound!

Gorgeous! Look at those greens! It's easy to understand why it's called the Emerald Isle. I love the photo of the fiddle-head ferns. I love all the photos!

Welcome back!
Your photos are divine! I gasped at the beauty of each one. I look forward to seeing them all when you come to Phoenix! :)

Oh, Joanne -- these are just stunning. I'm not seeing the rain here (although sometimes gloomy skies can bring some pretty great images, too!) I just see a beautiful place -- I can almost smell the green! Lovely details (and the sheep are my fave -- I just love sheep!)

Welcome home! Can't wait to see more!

Lynn Contos

Joanne, I didn't know you were going to Ireland. I loved my trip there 16 years ago. I loved the Burren, Waterford, Avoca. The people were so nice, too.

Robin Orewiler

Welcome home, Joanne. Love the pictures, especially the sheep walking down the road!

Andi Hinkle

Beautiful pictures! So green and fresh looking...just like Ireland is supposed to be.
