While I was making things for the Paper Guild Holiday Sale, I made a lot of hand painted/inked papers. I tore some in strips, sewed them to a paper background and hand sewed some beads to them. I like the look and made a few. Then I covered some studio wrapped canvases with black gesso and adhered the collages to the canvases. I like working on these and will probably make more.
Beautiful! Great colors and technique. How do you find time to do all the artsy creations you produce?

I really like these too! I do that with torn strips of fabric and it is just as interesting Joanne. Now that I think of it, I do it quite a lot, esp. with rust fabric left overs.

These are great -- you are so inventive! I think you could sell a zillion of the heart -- that's my favorite, too!
Hope the show went well indeed!
