My friend, Lorri Scott, is going to teach two classes (dying ribbons and making a nuno felted wrist wraps) and vend on the Tucson Bead Show February 9-12. She wanted some beads and buttons to use as embellishments for her beautiful wares (really, take a look at her classes and her ribbons, scarves, wrist wraps, and dresses on her blog or Etsy shop - or, better yet, go to the show in Tucson). I was happy to send an order off to her.
Below are some hearts for her to string her ribbons through.
An assortment of the beads and buttons I made for her.
The beads.
Sewing buttons on cards.
The cards of buttons before I packed them up.
These are all really beautiful. I love how you did the cards for the buttons. My Joanne stash is getting low. Maybe if it ever warms up enough I don't fear getting stuck on the highway, we could have a meet-up. Battle Creek, maybe?

Wonderful! Yummy textures. I hope we can see what Lorri does with them.

Wow! You've been busy. Like Judy, I was wondering what you meant

All are so beautiful, but I'm really crazy about the hearts, esp the off-white ones. The aged cards are a great idea as well.

Ah, ha! Mystery solved. I wondered what your cryptic message meant the other day when you said you had mailed off buttons, beads and hearts. These are so beautiful.
