I have been carving stamps to use as pattern stamps for fabrics and papers.
I started with carving blocks.
Then I made sketches of what I was thinking of doing and found my speedball carvers.
Now, it was time to draw my pattern onto the carving block and to start carving.
After I carved the stamp, I applied ink to it to check out what still had to be carved away.
Here are my stamps and the stamped images from them (the images are not great because they are just the proof of my stamps).
VERY cool, Joanne...looks like it was fun, too. Great results!!

Aren't they neat!?!!
I like the ist one. Can see it with some of your photo images. The bamboo one is wonderfully strong.
Inspired again! ( after I get out of my lazy phase)

I like all of your carvings. I recently came across my carving tools. I need to get some carving blocks so I can use the tools. All I could find in the drawer were small pieces of block.
