I've had a fairly unproductive art time for a while (Excuses: got a new knew on January 16 and have been sort of dealing with that - will get a new right knee on March 6 - don't worry, I won't show you my scars; have been overwhelmed by snow and cold). I finally got into production mode and carved some stamps to use in journals (and cards and collages and for fabrics).
I wanted some border images...
I also played with making positive and negative images for borders
I decided it would be fun to have a couple of city scapes.
You can't go wrong with hearts (or can you)...
well, I decided I went wrong with the solid hearts and carved design into them.
I think I may try to make some more word stamps.
These are wonderful! Great job....

I haven't carved stamps in years, but it was fun. Love yours.

What a productive time you've had...love those designed hearts especially. Actually, a lot of cool things there to play with. Another knee? Good grief, girl...travels all over, two knee replacements...do you ever sit still? :)

Glad to see that you are in the art grove, like there is any place else to be....right ...!

These are fabulous. What is your substrate? I especially love the cityscapes and the hearts. My friend Kate said she'd give me a carving tutorial -- seeing these makes me want to do it right now!

What fun stamps! one of them looks like a film strip. Hope you do well with the knee replacements.

I really like the stamps you have carved. The hand of the artist becomes part of the charm.
